Agnes & Pavel have been looking after the dogs of Kensington Gardens since 2007. They do this because they love dogs. All the best humans do!
Both Agnes and Pavel grew up with dogs, and today they have their own special friend at home, a rescue dog called Kolo. (Ah, lucky Kolo!) But when they started walking dogs for a living, they didn’t do it lightly. They made an important commitment: they will always put dogs first. Keeping us happy is their top priority – even above making money so that they can buy shoes! This means Agnes & Pavel are different to a lot of other dog-walkers…
– They don’t use cars or cages. They only take on dogs who live within a small area, so all the travel they do with their dogs is on foot. Which is good, because being in a cage is as boring as a world with no trees to sniff.
– They walk all their dogs themselves. If Agnes & Pavel wanted, they could take on lots more dogs, and hire other humans to walk them. But they don’t. This means the dogs in their pack know them really well, and feel happy and safe.

– They let their dogs off the lead to run around. Some other dog walkers never let dogs off the lead at all! This makes me feel sad, like a hot dog with no sausage. Tragic.
– They are very honest; they’ll only take on a new dog if they know they can look after him properly – not if he’s too young, elderly, or unfit. All the dogs in their pack are ‘well-socialised.’ That means they are good at sniffing each other’s bottoms, instead of being inappropriate. (I mean, how embarrassing would that be.)
I’ve also heard humans saying that every dog Agnes & Pavel take on must be neutered. Hmm, what does that mean?! Not sure. Possibly something to do with cheese.
Agnes & Pavel walk dogs in groups of four, which is a good number because it’s high enough to have FUN but low enough to get lots of scratches behind the ears. They play fetch and will help a dog with basic training if needed. Hurrah! Extra games!

Agnes & Pavel have NEVER lost their excitement about spending time with us dogs (kind of like how I feel when I hear a crisp packet rustling). That’s still the case, even though a lot of the dogs in their pack have been walked by them for a long time – years and years. To the dogs they walk and the humans that belong to them, Agnes & Pavel are like family.

Some more human things that you might like to know: Agnes & Pavel are members of the National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers, are licensed by The Royal Parks, covered by Public Liability insurance, have a Pet First Aid Certificate, and hold current DBS criminal background check certificates.
